for the 2008-09 season are listed below.

Rick Yokum (419-878-3735) for any potential team openings. All tryouts are conducted at the
Blue
Creek fields in
Whitehouse.
Registration
Information:
Fill out the Registration
Form on the AW Community website by May 30th. This form enables
parents/guardians of the tryout
participants to provide written permission for their
player to participate in tryouts and must be completed and
submitted online.

Raindate will only be used if thunder and/or lightning occur.
Rain showers will not affect tryout dates and/or times. If in
doubt, go to the fields, tryouts will only be cancelled at the site.

player absolutely cannot make the scheduled tryout, please contact
Rick
Yokum (419-878-3735) to make arrangements for a makeup tryout.

Miscellaneous Tryout
Notes
|

An AWSC Executive Committee
representative and prospective coaches will conduct all AWSC tryouts.
-
A player must tryout at his or
her age group or the age group of their grade level (i.e. U9 - 3rd
grade, U10 - 4th grade, etc.). A player may choose to tryout in an
older age group. To try out in an older age group, the player must
be one of the top three players in his/her natural age group and one
of the top ten players in the older age group to be eligible to play
on the older team. The player must be rated at both tryouts.
There will be no exceptions.

All AW
Soccer Club team roster selections must be approved by the AW Soccer
Club Executive Committee prior to notification of players. The AWSC
Executive committee will meet by Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 8:00 pm to
approve rosters.

All tryout participants will be
notified by Tuesday, June 10, 2008 as to their team status.

Uniform ordering night is
Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm at the AW Indoor Soccer
Facility on Neapolis-Waterville Rd.

Playing on a team in prior year
does not guarantee a spot on the team in future years.

A team fact sheet will be
distributed to all prospective players at the tryout. This sheet
will contain more specific information and estimated expenses for the
respective team.

The number of teams will be
determined at tryouts as it is dependent on the number of prospective
players. If needed, combined age group teams will be considered.

Club Camp will be July 7-11, 2008 at Blue Creek Soccer
Fields. Details will be available after team tryouts.
