About the Scholarship
Established in 2004, this award is presented each
year by the Anthony Wayne Soccer Club to a young
person from the Anthony Wayne soccer community.
Application deadline is
April 25, 2012.
Eligible entrants: Anyone who has played in the
Anthony Wayne Soccer Club and is currently enrolled
in college, or who will be entering a college the
next fall semester, with plans of attaining a
Bachelors or Associate degree. The scholarship must
be used for tuition or books. The check will be made
payable to the college of the individual’s choice.
An individual may only win this award once.
Amount of award: To be determined by the board. This
year we are pleased to offer one scholarship in the
amount of $1,000. |
Evaluation Process:

Grade Point Average (20%)
-
Years of playing experience and level of play,
one of which must have been in the in the
Anthony Wayne Soccer Club (20%)

Other soccer activities (coaching, refereeing,
volunteer work, awards) (15%)
-
Other school activities (clubs, student
government, sports, etc.) (15%)
-
